How to use the Custom Screener

The Custom Screener filters the precalculated flat table (`factor_scores_current`) — it never recalculates the model on request.

Free vs Pro

• Free: sector and market-cap filters; rows without NeoAlpha Score columns
• Pro: factor thresholds, score min, P/E bounds, dividend yield, presets, row expand, CSV export

Filters combine with AND logic only in MVP (no OR / NOT).

Presets

Pro includes starter presets such as Quality Compounders, Momentum Leaders, Value Opportunities, and Balanced Strength. Treat them as starting points, then tighten thresholds to your process.

Workflow tip

1. Start from a preset or a score floor
2. Add one or two factor floors that match your thesis
3. Export CSV on Pro if you continue work offline
4. Save custom screens after auth lands (Free ≤2 saved screens)
