What is the NeoAlpha Score?
NeoAlpha Research · Beta · Methodology
The NeoAlpha Score is our proprietary composite for comparing equities in a consistent, relative framework. It is designed for power retail investors who want clearer ranking context than raw fundamentals alone.
Six factors, visually equal
In the Platform UI, six factors are always presented symmetrically:
- Quality
- Momentum
- Growth
- Value
- Predictability
- Shareholder Focus
The composite uses equal factor weights as locked in the quantitative model documentation. This post does not redefine weights or thresholds — those live only in the model canon.
Score, Tier, and ranks
- NeoAlpha Score — composite on a 0–100 scale for scoreable tickers
- Tier — letter band (S / A / B / C / D / F) for fast visual grading
- Industry Rank / Sector Rank — relative position within GICS L2 / L1 peer sets
Banks, Insurance, and REITs are excluded from the standard score in MVP pending sector-specific models (Phase 2). Raw public data remains available on the Stock Page.
Hex Factor Map
The Hex Factor Map shows the ticker profile versus universe average and, when at least five scoreable industry peers exist, industry average. Fewer peers → industry average is hidden with an “Insufficient industry peers” explanation.
